Bug Description
When trying to build footnote with valac 0.20 I get the following error (and lots of warnings):
...
/tmp/portage/
return tree.remove(iter);
...
This is footnote from trunk, Vala 0.20.0 and Glib 2.34
I've attached the full build log.

Confirmed on Arch Linux x86_64. vala is 0.20.1.
