Bug Description

Binary package hint: apport-qt

Installing KDE 4 alpha (obviouvsly without removing KDE 3) apport-qt is automatically removed. This problem seems related to package python-qt4 that is removed by KDE 4 due to substitution of packages libqt4-core and libqt4-gui with libqt4-core-kdecopy and libqt4-gui-kdecopy.
These dependencies should be fixed at least in next release to allow test with KDE 4 without removing apport-qt,

Preferably the -kdecopy packages should Provide: libqt4-core and friends. If that's not possible due to ABI changes, then python-qt4 should get alternative dependencies. If there are API changes so hard that python-qt4 cannot mask them, then I will not fix this in apport either and it is correct to remove apport-qt in this case.

No longer reproducible, probably fixed in the past.

Changed in qt4-x11-kdecopy:
