After system update (from 7.04 to 7.10) openoffice 2.2 writer dont want to open old files(neither *.doc nor *.odt). But newly created files it opens normally. I could not reproduce this problem with current Ubuntu Gutsy. I created an odt file on Ubuntu 7.04 and opened it in Gutsy with no problem.

If you can reproduce this problem reliably please let me know and try to describe how to reproduce the problem in more detail.

Thanks,

Chris Cheney
