Bug Description

Using pinta-1.5-preview-20130309 on Windows XP I am constantly having trouble when saving an image. Now I have realized that main "trouble" is THE order of the buttons provided in Save dialog.

I have compared Pinta's "Save" dialog with Gimp 2.8.4 and LibreOffice 4.0.1 and found out that Pinta is using non-standard order of buttons. Gimp & LibreOffice left-to-right: Save, Close without saving, Cancel. Pinta: Close without saving, Cancel, Save. See attachment.

I think the programs on the same system should follow common GUI logic in this case button order from left-to-right to reduce confusion as much as possible.

P.S. Maybe this request is more feature request then a bug.

I think that's actually the correct order for Linux (for example, Gedit uses the same order), so this is a Windows-specific bug. Should be pretty easy to fix.

Yes, exactly . The order of buttons is by standard definition different on Windows and Linux (checked on Ubuntu 12.04).

P.S. If you check Pinta latest development on Ubuntu, File | Open and order of buttons are: Cancel, Open. The same for Gedit. But on Windows Pinta is using Open, Cancel which is also correct because Pinta. So Pinta is correctly operating system adapted for "open" action, but not for "save" action.
