I can't browse packages not installed yet

When I start the Lubuntu Software Center by default I should be able to install new packages, but I can only see my installed packages even after clicking on "Get Software". I cannot install anything form the software Center anyway. I have just installed Lubuntu on my virtual machine.

Thank you for reporting this problem and working to make Lubuntu better. The Lubuntu team was unable to offer the 12.04 Precise release as a Long-Term Support release, so support for 12.04 ended in October2013. Are you still encountering this problem in a supported Lubuntu release (14.04, 14.10)? I cannot recreate this issue on physical hardware or a VM.
