Bug Description

Hi,
I'm victim of freezes (maybe GPU hangs). The mouse can't move. When there is sound playing, it freezes too.
Sometimes hangs lasts 10 seconds and other times, 10 minutes are not sufficient nad it requires hardware reboot.
It happens randomly (means that I don't know what caused the freezes) and I tried but can't reproduced it.

"$ ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-intel" tells me that erport the bug is impossible and that I have to join ubuntu support.

I saw thoses bugs related but don't know if there is a real link (IPEHR, chips and kernels are different...) :
#1102390 [sandybridge-m-gt2] False GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x01800100 IPEHR: 0x0b140001

This is my configuration (I added things that I've read from other and might be important):
Ubuntu Precise 12.04 i686
Notebook: Clevo W150HRM
Processor and iGPU: Intel core i5-2520
Graphics dGPU: nVidia GT555M
Hard drives: main Crucial C300 and slave 1TB Seagate

I join the crash logs contained in /var/crash and a lspci list.

The common here is the TLB invalidate bug. It is fixed in v3.8 (raring), someday someone may backport the fixes.

Thanks guys!
How can I find out when this will be backported to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

This error occurs to me with kernel 3.2.0-39 while it seems to work without problems with kernel 3.2.0-38 on my production machine - therefore I switched to the latter kernel for now.

I came here via https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1160151 and this is how I am able to immediately reproduce the bug. I simply have to hover over docky.

If you require particular logs please advise which and will gladly provide.

Hi guys.
Ubuntu 12.10 x86. I installed the 3.5.0-27-generic and the problem is still present. I went down to the kernel 3.5.0-25, errors appear, but I can work.
