Bug Description

Boil sg has invalid value when used equipment have losses. I have 2 liter lauter deadspace and 3 liter kettle to fermenter loss. I am going to make a 12 litre batch with og 1,120. The software shows me that the boil volume is 19 litres (correct) and the boil sg is 1,119 (should be ~1,095).
I am using Brewtarget 2.0.1 installed from .deb-package on Ubuntu Linux 12.04.

I will double check this. I know my equipment has losses in both the lauter tun and the kettle and I haven't noticed it being that terribly off. That isn't saying it isn't off, just that I haven't noticed it.

Thanks for giving me the OS version and bt version. That makes it a lot easier.

I will be investigating this tonight. Is it possible you could export the recipe causing the problems to XML and attach it to this bug report? It would help my efforts.

Here's the recipe you asked. There seems to be workaround to this problem - when setting kettle to fermenter loss to 0 and increasing the batch size by this loss (in this case by 3 litres so that batch size is 15 litres).

This is still a problem with BT 2.3 both boil sg and OG are calculated incorrect if there is a large lauter tun dead space, that is to say they are not even changed at all.

We have moved to github (https://github.com/Brewtarget/brewtarget/issues).

I will check to see if this issue is still open over there, and either update or add it as required.
