Bug Description

After ubuntu 12.04, changing wallpaper does not change the lightdm background on login, it's stupid, but quite annoying just because it's a good feature.

yes but not with custom wallpapers, it works only with Ubuntu's default

that's a known issue due to permissions (other users, including the login screen, are not allowed to read you private images), see bug #928553

Yes , but in 12.04 this not happen, i can use every wallpaper in my folder "Images" and lightdm changes it's background in line with the wallpaper choose, maybe this could help.

is that on the same machine? maybe on your 12.04 the Images folder of your user is accessible to other users?

Same machine sir, and in every fresh install on every machine, i haven't changed nothing in permissions , everything is on default.

ok, not sure what's happening then, that doesn't make sense, the greeter is a separate users and should have access to your private files, if it's working on 12.04 it seems a bug there

Haha so strange so, yes every custom wallpaper from /image folder is read by default without changing anything
