I also get this on Gentoo using the most recent version in portage (openerp-7.0.20130219-r5). Database is postgresql-9.2, python is 2.7.

My on-screen error message, however, is slightly different. It is "Uncaught Error: QWeb2 - template['SearchView.filters']: RuntimeError: TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'visible'"

This issue was directly caused by an update on the OpenERP Apps platform - it should be solved now, sorry for the inconvenience.

The actual reason why this was happening is an incompatibility between the version of the web client running on OpenERP Apps vs the web client on OpenERP 7.0 installations older than 2013-03-04 (technically openerp-web rev. 3803 revid:<email address hidden>)

The error could also be fixed by updating the "web" module to the latest version on your local instance.

This incompatibility has been lifted in web client 7.0 at revision 3856
(rev-id: <email address hidden>) and deployed on OpenERP Apps - so the issue should be fixed everywhere.
