Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
I'm using up to date Xubuntu Feisty, and I notice since install that the first GDM login attempt always fail for me.
It looks like the first keyboard event/pushed button would be not pushed at all so for example if I try to login as
"JohnDoe" I got only "ohnDoe" on my login screen. I also notice that at first keyboard event numlock
keyboard light turns off itself. I have 32 bit AMD based system with PS/2 keyboard I can give some more infos if needed.

I don't see how it could be an xfce4-session bug since it's not started at this time of the startup process.
