Fullscreen with two monitors

Bug Description

When using two monitors, fullscreen DOS games like Daggerfall are spanned across the two monitors like if it was only one display which make it very hard to see anything.

This is probably an SDL problem; dosbox uses SDL 1.2.

Can you try in your system other games/apps that use SDL to see if the problem is also there? Thanks!

A bit of necromancy on an old bug report, but in case someone else is seeing this:

Yes, this is an SDL issue, but DOSBox could instruct SDL to work correctly.

To *work around* it, you can use environment variable: SDL_VIDEO_FULLSCREEN_DISPLAY=<number> AND use dosbox settings: sdl.fullresolution=<resolution of the display you selected> (do not use value "desktop"!).

Or you can use steam-dos, which does it automatically: https://github.com/dreamer/steam-dos
