Window geometry is slightly off when opening maximized

There is a slight problem with window geometry when they are opened miximied in Compiz.

It is as if the window was slightly (one pixel) rotated to the left.
Looking at the attached screen copy, you can see an orange line on the upper right side of the screen, as well as the scrollbar missing some pixels on the down right side of the screen.

Unmaximizing / remaximizing the window makes the problem disappear, until the window is closed and reopened maximized. Then, the problem will show again.

Having a closer look at it, there seem to be a two pixel wide line going from under the top desktop bar to the lower right corner. The line is shaded off, depending on the color of the backgroung. It does hide (on two pixels, so it's not that noticeable) the underlying window.
