Bug Description
One can change what happens when a DVD-Video is inserted in system settings>
However, that does not change the fact that a disk appears in the unity launcher as a removable media. When user clicks it, it opens in nautilus. That is not much helpful (what is one supposed to do with the audio_ts and video_ts folders anyway?). Opening it with video player with DVD menu support (or default video player) would be much handier. The same goes for Blue ray, HD and so on (even though I have no experience with those).

+1 this would increase the usability for the average user.
The avg user is helpless with viewing her DVD's raw contents.
In 99% she wants to simply watch the DVD video.
The rare case for inspecting the disc should be handled by by right-click > open with file browser.
Please re-evaluate your use cases! Thanks!
