Bug Description
When attempting to get an accurate position of an object in JHelioviewer the cursor is a satndard 'hand' so it is very difficult to know where exactly you are measuring. Pleae allow the cursor to be changed to either the microsoft 'Precision Select Cross' or even better to the measuring cursor used in The Gimp which consists of 4 right angles with their points almost touching. Think a square cut in 4 and the 4 parts rotated by 180 degrees so they point in. This is better than the Microsoft cursor as you can still see the object you are measuring.
The second part is that can the measurement units and point of origin be made selectable. When you load a calibrated image the measurement vhanges from X-Y (in pixels ?) with top left the origin to arc Seconds with the Sun the origin. Please allow the measurement to be made in Pixels as an alternative with the origin upper left.
The reason for both is that it allows measuring positions of Comets in the Lasco C3 / C2 & SDO images in a format that the positions can be entered into the SOHO /SDO comet hunting website.
Great programme by the way thanks for writing it and making it available. In particular the image quality is great. I have already spotted two Comets - one previousally known and another possibly new but I am having problems measuring the comet positions in The Gimp.
Thanks
