Bug Description
Summary: The manufacturing order proceeds despite what the "valid from" and "valid until" fields say.
v7
Reproduce
Create a BOM and set the first item's "Valid from" to last year and "Valid until" to yesterday.
Save.
Produce.
The manufacturing will procede and deduct the component from inventory. (!)
Go back to the same BOM and set the first item's "Valid from" to tomorrow and and "Valid until" to next year.
Save
Produce.
The manufacturing will procede and deduct the component from inventory. (!)
Expected.
Manufacturing should not use items in the BOM if the date of manufacture is outside the valid period.
Or, I don't understand the purpose of the "valid" fields.

There is a suggested patch for 6.1 that you may be able to use or re-factor.
