Bug Description

I noticed that the TeXstudio package is based on a debug build. However, the TeXstudio debug build runs some automated tests at startup which are not intended for end-users.

We've now added an option to remove these tests also in the debug build (from rev. 3823 on). Please set an additional preprocessor define NO_TESTS when compiling TXS for end-users.
appending DEFINES+=NO_TESTS to the qmake call should do. Alternatively, if you are using the BUILD.sh script, it will now ask for this option.

Thanks for packaging TeXstudio.

Hi Tim

Thanks for sharing, I'll gladly use NO_TESTS. It seems I'll have to wait for the release of the next TeXstudio version as the one in debian unstable (2.5.2) is based on rev. 3651.

Regards,
Tom
