Bug Description

1. Description of the problem:
Preseed installation using full disk encryption works on a virtual machine but fails on bare metal with the following message at the end of the syslog file.

The machine used is using a Dell PERC H310 PCIe host-based RAID card which "seems" to be considered fake-RAID.

Mar 7 13:41:23 grub-installer: info: Installing grub on '/dev/sda'
Mar 7 13:41:23 grub-installer: info: grub-install supports --no-floppy
Mar 7 13:41:23 grub-installer: info: Running chroot /target grub-install --no-floppy --force "/dev/sda"
Mar 7 13:41:24 grub-installer: /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: no such disk.
Mar 7 13:41:24 grub-installer: Auto-detection of a filesystem of /dev/mapper/vg-root failed.

An output if the following command is attached to this bug.
mount --bind /proc /target/proc
mount --bind /dev /target/dev
mount --bind /sys /target/sys
chroot /target
/usr/sbin/grub-probe --device-map="/boot/grub/device.map" --target=fs -vv /boot/grub > grub-probe.out 2>&1
