Bug Description

Hello

I have a clean 64-bit ubuntu installed yesterday. Installed the newest subversion package.

Each time I try to
svn checkout http://svn. ... ./repos/save-as
Authentication realm: <http://svn.....com:80> Global Subversion Repository
Password for 'masiluna':
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

On my second machine with svn 1.6.17 everything works correctly. I tried different repos and the same result.

Thanks for any help

I will add that I am using KDE. svn has as authentication. The client works fine when checking out from non authenticated repos.

Based on the strace output it may suggest some problem with kwallet integration?

Issue is occurring on an old platform, even with 'simple' commands like svn --help, svn--version:

cat /proc/cpuinfo gives CPU Family 15 model 2 Mobile Intel (R) Pentium(R) 4 (ie this problem is occuring on a 32 bit system).

which is in an HP nx9010 laptop.

Lubuntu 12.10 is a fresh (done yesterday) install from the 'Alternate' CD (Oct 2012), plus ~200MBytes of updates from 'update-manager', AND the additional packages needed to install / use OpenWRT (all from the default Ubuntu repositories apart from 'jikes' which was downloaded direct from Debian).

I am NOT running kdewallet which was the issue for another bug report in LP re svn issues; the --help and --version switches to svn should mean that it is not even looking at authentication stuff..
