Bug Description

http://www.snc.edu/compserv/handouts/netdrive.pdf is the sample file.

To reproduce (Feisty):
Click and drag starting at the "s" in https:// on the first address shown (for NetStorage), ending theoretically at the end of the URL.
For me, it never made it to the end without hanging the entire system requiring a reboot. (Once, the caps lock and scroll lock lights on my keyboard were flashing but this didn't happen the second time the hang occurred).

Thank you for your bug. Does the computer freeze totally? Can you still move the cursor? Does ctrl-alt-f1 is working? Could you attach /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog /var/log/Xorg.0.log to the bug. That works fine on my computer and there is no reason an user application can hang the system, it might trigger a linux or xorg bug though
