latest version breaks possibility to search only by object name

Before this version it has been possible to use select_single(objectName="myBlaBlaObject") which is not possible any more. Seems the current version always requires the ClassName parameter.

We have some tests in the phone apps (esp. mediaplayer-app and gallery-app) that break because of this.

Well spotted - this is actually a bug in autopilot, rather than libxpathselect. Please could you test the attached autopilot branch? If it works for you, please do what you can to get it merged into lp:autopilot ASAP (I may well be AFK).
