Bug Description

Binary package hint: crack-attack

Clicking the window manager's 'x' from the start window does not exit the crack-attack (I have to kill the process). This problem is only with the window manager's 'x', with "quit" button I don't have any problem.

TEST CASE:
1. Open crack-attack
2. Close it with the window decoration's X
3. see with "ps aux|grep crack-attack" that it's still running

We must to wait until April!!!! Why you can't fix this in Gutsy?
I know, It isn't a big deal, but I think that is not too much work to fix it right now.

I don't think it fits the requirements for a SRU (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates).

The fix indeed is quite simple though, so I'll provide a debdiff for gutsy-proposed. I'll nominate it for release - let's see what others think.

The impact of this bug is, that if the user closes the game with the X button of the window, the process keeps running. It does not consume a lot of CPU or something similar though.

No need to subscribe ubuntu-sru which is only for main.
Personally, I don't think this is worth an sru:

it doesn't cause a security vulnerability
its not a severe regression
it doesn't cause loss of user data

An easy work-around exists (closing with the quit button).

I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors as previous comments indicate hardy doesn't need a sponsor and the issue is not sufficient for an SRU. Please resubscribe if later bug discussion generates a candidate that requires sponsorship.

  * Fix up some GUI shortcut collisions, including putting nothing on S for
the benefit of the Spanish translation, and not colliding Quality/Quit
as Ubuntu already fixed. (closes: #411374)
  * Exit when GUI window is closed. (closes: #371146)
  * Close audio if no sound files found, thanks Nathan A. Stine.
    (closes: #419837)
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.7.2.2.
