Bug Description

since I moved to xorg I found that whenever I try to use xorg in a resolution
under 1024x768 (the default resolution). if I do try to change my resolution to
one under 1024x768, it will crash. this is a problem because a lot of games work
under 800x600 or 640x480.

my video card is ATI raedon mobility U1.

This does not occur for me, or apparently anyone else. I need your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log, and /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

I honestly don't know what to say. I don't see any evidence of a crash, I've
never heard of a problem like this, I don't know how it could possibly occur.
When does the resolution change? Do games change it? Do you change it from
under GNOME?
