Bug Description

when you change your x-terminal-emulator using update-alternatives the function of applications -> Accessories -> terminal should be to open the selected terminal. Instead it opens gnome-terminal all the time.

This should change to exec x-terminal-emulator shell which is linked to the selected terminal emulator as per update-alternatives.

I'm adding it as a comment rather then an additional bug.

When assigning shortcuts using System -> Preferances -> keyboard Shortcuts -> Run a terminal the same problem exists.

It should exec x-terminal-emulator not gnome-terminal as it does currently.

I have however not found where to change this yet.

we doesn't keep easily with the number of bugs and looking for duplicates takes time. I didn't find the number with a quick query, it might be a rejected bug though. The icon should not use the alternative anyway, rather the preferred application from the GNOME capplet and there is no easy way to do that
