Can not log in after install.

After installing Ichthux, I can not log in. I type my user name and password, it starts to enter the desktop only to go back to the log in screen. I've tried a re-install and still get this problem. Any thoughts?

When I'm installing and when the installer is scanning mirrors it crashed, so doesn't end the instalation, also
doesn't install a GRUB or LILO.However with the same live cd I've seen the all files are installed so I've tried to enter after I've installed Xubuntu and this has installed a GRUB.Well in GRU's menu appear ichthux but with another name (UBUNTU) so I've tried to enter to ichthux so it doesn't recognize my password although appear my name (username) by default.
