Bug Description

I installed RedNotebook 1.7.1 at WinXP and tried to use the new spell-checking feature. But it does not work. I tested with RedNotebookPortable and with rednotebook-1.7.1.exe from sourceforge.

Observations:
1. When switching on spell-checking (by [F7] or menu entry) nothing happens. The content menu shows only the default entries "cut", "copy", "paste", "delete" and "select all".

2. The folder enchant and its subfolder contain no dictionary files. Searching the RNB directory for "*.dic", "*.dict", "en" and "de" lists no dictionary files, too.

Thanks for the report! The issue is that the installer didn't include
the dict files. I'll upload a fixed version soon.

Nonetheless it's strange that it doesn't work if you just add the German
files manually. Your system language is probably English, right? Does it
work if you add two empty files en_US.dic and en_US.aff?

I think RNB detects a english OS although i have a german user interface. The reason may be, that we use the Multi-Lingual User Interface feature of WinXP Pro to switch between a english and german user interface.

The spell-checking works fine if i add en_US.dic and en_US.aff. If in addition a german dictionary is installed (de_DE_frami.dic & de_DE_frami.aff), RNB uses this one by default. The rednotebook.log showns:

> 2013-03-06 11:08:18,734 INFO Language code: de_DE

This version works fine. Spell-checking is activated by default and on my PC the dictionary de_DE is selected.
