Hm, I just tried to take on with gimp, but It doesn't work. is this another bug? What do you take screenshots with?

If you're getting all black screenshots, you're running into a proprietary drivers bug.

Ok, so that bug is already reported. Sorry, no screenshot from me.

To reproduce this bug:
Right click on any image file. Select properties. Select Preview. Go back to generel (or whatever the first item is called in english)

I see what you mean now. This actually is not related to the preview, it happens if you select text then deselect it.

I have observed this outside of Files, Victor says this is a bug in .content-view.
