x fails to load after installing ubuntu studio

Bug Description

system specs:

Acer Aspire 5610Z laptop
Intel T2060 Core Duo 2x1.6ghz 2x1mb cache
1gb DDR2
Intel GMA950 Video

I get error code 11 when X tries to load

Please attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log from the non-working install.

Had the same problem on two computers.

On one, the xorg.conf file had a space added at the end. Deleting it got it the X server working again!

On the other computer, I had to enable Nvidia drivers which had been put into the blacklist. Took a while, but got things working eventually.

Sorry, forgot to explain: I deleted the white space at the end of the xorg.conf file.

BUT, you can also just delete the xorg.conf file itself (after backing it up), and the X server in Ubuntu Studio should work OK. The only downside is if you need to configure something like a Wacom tablet or graphics card that needs settings in the file.
