Bug Description

Binary package hint: beagle

steps to reproduce:
- open an application, FIrefox i.e.
- make sure that application's window has focus
- hit your favorite keyboard shortcut to call Beagle-search (mine is F12)

beagle-search appears under the currently focused window.

- hit F12 again to make beagle-search disappear
- hit F12 again to call it again

now it appears over the window and gets the focus.

Calling Beagle-search from the tray icon work as expected, instead.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 and Beagle Search 0.2.16.3

This appears to be a window manager setting. In compiz, you can work-around this issue by going into the CompizConfig Settings Manager -> General Settings -> Focus and Raise Behavior -> Focus Prevention Level -> Off. Or, you can add a certain window to the list of exceptions.
