Binary package hint: octave-forge

in octave-forge2.1 there is no support for sparse matrices (missing sparse.oct and full.oct)

the edgy package correctly contains the two files

User confirmed that installing the Edgy package in Feisty works. Can the Feisty package be corrected?

Octave*-forge does not exist in Ubuntu Karmic.
Is this bug still present in latest Ubuntu?
Edgy and Feisty are EOL.

sparse.oct is present in octave3.0 and octave3.2
