Bug Description
When using parted or gparted, the desktop will become unresponsive after successfully modifying the partition layout. The mouse is movable, but clicking or using the keyboard has no effect. Sometime after a long while responsiveness will return, but sometimes it appears not to and compiz must be killed.
Unity does output these warnings:
WARN 2013-02-27 23:29:18 unity.libgdu <unknown>:0 Partition /org/freedeskto

I'm on Precise, with unity version 5.14 and compiz version 0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1.4
I take that back unity is still locking up, though it seems less often. I've attached the xsession-errors file.
