A GUI to ease the process of producing a multipage PDF from a scan. gscan2pdf should work on almost any Linux/BSD machine.

The author allready provides .deb packages for Debian/Ubuntu

Thanks for reporting. This package is already in Debian unstable. It's not currently in any gutsy queues, so this should be a sync request.
Please sync gscan2pdf (0.9.7-1) from Debian unstable main.
The package builds cleanly and runs unmodified on Feisty.
