Bug Description
I use OSX at work, so I bought a logitech keyboard made for macs to use at home so that the keys are in a consistent position. Rather than try to bend OSX to my will, I though it would be easier to map the keys in KDE to the OSX positions; however this does not seem to be possible.
The "windows" key (keycode 133, left of the spacebar) is the equivalent of the control key in OSX. I would like to switch it and left control (keycode 37) so that all applicaitons follow the new layout. (Both my IDE and KDE allows fine grained shortcut remapping, but I also need the keymap to apply in the browser, etc - so the KDE settings should be flexible enough to allow this.)
Current relevant options are:
Control is mapped to Win keys (and the usual Ctrl Keys) -- this gets me halfway there, but leaves me with only two special keys on the left, since key 133 becomes a duplicate of key 37.
Left ctrl as Meta -- if this overrode the parentheses of the previous option, the combination of these two settings would be a workable configuration; however it does not -- with both selected, keys 64 and 37 are both mapped to Alt_L.

Hi there!
Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https:/ /bugs.kde. org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.
Thanks!
