Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

There's an odd choice of Australian cities to select your timezone from in the graphical installer for feisty. Canberra (the capital) and Melbourne are missing from the list, and there are two really odd towns with approximately zero population to select from as well. The installer should at least have the state and national captials to choose from.

Melbourne can be selected from the timezone selection, Canberra not. The ubiquity installer uses the gnome time-admin command that relies on the information in the tzdata package. The timezone information is taken from http://www.twinsun.com/tz/tz-link.htm.

I suspect the odd towns are included because of anomalies in their timezone that make them special.

Whoops - sorry about the Melbourne thing. I guess it's more of a usability issue really. The Australia/Eucla (site of an old telegraph station, population 50) and Australia/Currie (largest town in King Island off Bass Strait, population 1570 for the entire island) timezones probably are weird for some reason, more research required. I'm not sure very many people are going to be selecting those options though it might be a bit mean to leave them out.
