Bug Description

Considering that Ubuntu One is shutting down its Notes service I decided to try a synchronisation of my notes through the file service. I create a new folder /home/user/Ubuntu One/tomboy and copied all the notes files into there. Afterwards I replaced the original /home/user/.local/share/tomboy folder in each system with symlinks to the Ubuntu One folder.

With this scheme Tomboy isn't able to recognise the same notes in the different systems. For instance, while at home Tomboy is able to find all my notes, at the office Tomboy doesn't find any. Both systems are Ubuntu 12.04 with Tomboy installed from the repos. Using Nautilus all the sub-folders under Ubuntu One are shown with the green tick, and there's no report of errors by daemon in any of the systems.

Thanks for reading.
