Bug Description

I am using the Nvidia driver version 295.40.

Using the window switcher, the switcher is always displayed garbled.

Using the window switcher multiple times led to a total freeze.
The computer didn't even respond to ping again.

After resetting and rebooting the computer, the dmesg log shows again the following messages:

Experience a similar issue as well, using a Quadro FX 3800M with driver 304.*, 310.* and 313.* in 12.10 and 13.04.
(Dell Precision M6500 with a core i7)

Very frequent random lockup's which crashes both unity and gnome-shell, switching between tty1 and tty7 sometimes resolves this issue, but complete lockup's occur as well, ruining everything you've been working on.
It seems to be happening more when the GPU is under load.

Example of lockup which happened watching a flash based video in gnome-shell, it resolved itself by waiting for a couple of minutes, switching to tty1 didn't work this time. The machine was completely unresponsive to input, but the sound of the video continued just fine, it did however manage to show a moving mouse cursor at times before locking up completely again.
The screen was showing a frozen image of the desktop at the beginning of the issue, but changed to the start image of gnome-shell (the noise based background) after a while.

For those wondering, Christopher (penalvch) had me create another report for this issue.
Running quite well with kernel 3.2 for a week now and have switched to 3.4 2 days ago, still without any issues.
Perhaps all effecting should mark my bug happening to you as well, we should turn up the heat!
