Bug Description

when I deleted some items inside a directory, the items (visually) were not gone, but when I went to upper directory and then go back to my previous working directory, the items now gone...
Cut and paste operation also showing the same behavior.
Items thumbnails (image files) didn't immediately generated.

You will have to be more specific. How much does it take for Files to respond? Did it work faster previously? A screencast would be welcome.

I can reproduce this myself. I think this is a regression I introduced.

To reproduce (in icon view): Open any folder inside home and perform any file operation that modifies the contents of that folder. The folder won't update its contents.

The "fix" that was merged introduced another regression, so it was reverted. I'm working on a proper fix now.
