Hey currently you can't run terra with source_dir/bin/terra without install, i will fix it, but you can run terra anyway try "python sourcedir/terra/terminal.py" it might run, but if you getting this error after proper install i need more detail.

Did you install terra from directly from ppa? and which distribution are you using? I think python library "terra" installed on /home/.local directory and other users can't access there.

From ppa set can not, writes: Terra Terminal Emulator does not have any download files registered with Launchpad.I use Ubuntu. And what it means "other users can't access there"?

Hey in version 0.1.7, i replaced "Error Terra library is not installed" part, now you can see error message, and we can solve this issue.

And i mean every user have different home directory and every user can write only their local directories.

I have this issue as well. It appeared after a bunch of updates to qt4. Running ubuntu raring.

Actually, I just realized that deleting my terra config folder seemed to fix the issue entirely. Any idea why this might be? It looks like my old main.cfg file was a binary file of some sort, while the new one (that was recreated when I ran terra again) is plain-text. Is this a recent change?

This happened to me again after a recent update. I'm not sure which update caused this error again, but once more, deleting ~/.config/terra/main.cfg and opening terra again.

works by removing the file ~/.config/terra/main.cfg
