mmc file reads truncated randomly with linux-linaro-arndale

Using latest image ( arndale-
linux-image-
It looks like reads from external sd card are sometimes truncated.
This can been seen randomly for example
apt-get install qemu-system
- dpkg will complain about a missing final newline in a lists file. When you look at the file, it is indeed truncated. After you reboot and look at the file again, it is ok.
sometimes while compiling - this leads to segfaults in compiler or other problems:

I was not able to reproduce this with 3.6 based image linked from the EnterpriseUbunt
