network plug gets blank

Bug Description
To reproduce:
Select wireless in the network plug. Open the dropdown list with network names. Select last entry (something like more).
I am using the german version, so I am not sure, I named things correctly.

Unfortunately these GCC plugs are just an unmaintainable hack that we're planning to replace in Luna +1 anyways. So marking as won't fix.
However if someone comes along with a fix in the meantime, please feel free to let us know about it :)
