volumes_visible gconf key shows duplicated icons

Binary package hint: nautilus

with the gconf key /apps/nautilus/desktop/volumes_visible enabled (default in ubuntu) removable storage devices have 2 icons in the desktop. Not in the Places menu and in drivemount applet

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Does it happen every time? Does it happen with CDs also for example?

reproduce it, but I think
I've seen it with CDs too.

I have the same problem with cdroms.
It happens when leaving cdrom inserted and then reboot.
I'm using Nautilus 2.18.1 on Feisty.

My cdrom /etc/fstab line is:
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

mount output:
/dev/hdc on /media/cdrom0 type iso9660 (ro,noexec,nosuid,nodev,user=simone)

 dmesg | grep hdc

I've found that restarting dbus (/etc/init.d/dbus restart) fixes the problem.

In this moment, I'm using gutsy, and this problem hasn't happened yet.
