There are the man pages interfaces(5), vlan-interfaces(5), bridge-
The only canonical documentation seem to be the ifupdown scripts and the examples and Google. This should be fixed :)

It's a little more than wishlist, I would argue - I can find *no* canonical, working documentation for the bonding options. bond-master versus bond-slave, allow-bond0, etc. - nothing quite seems to work as expected, because I'm guessing, because I'm googling and getting documentation over a span for many years and many releases. I could be hitting bugs that are causing my problems, but I don't know, because the documentation is *that* bad.
