Bug Description
Binary package hint: xsane-common
Only appears to affect Feisty
Canon Scanner 1240U /30 LiDE works (checked with alternate operating system)
Both Scanner programmes ( Xsane and Kooka) appear to work but scanning does not take place.
The result is a blank/black screen. No scanner Light nor any movement of scanner light.
Have rebooted and rechecked - still Not working
Operating system reports scanner is there as does scanning programmes.
