doesn't play after a few played files

Bug Description

After startup Rhytmbox plays mp3s normally.
But then, after a few songs played it no longer plays music even if I skip to another song, press play again, etc.

When it gets stuck it notifies the song is being played but the song does not play and the timer does not advance.

This actually applies to the whole system: If Rhythmbox gets stuck and no longer plays mp3 files, totem will not play either.

I believe I have corrupted files that produce this.
Corrupted files are expected to be skipped instead of disabling the system's playback capability for the rest of the session.
I'll scan my music library looking for those files and maybe share them if someone is interested.
