Bug Description
When running vdr-sxfe in Unity it has difficulty going full-screen. It starts off in a window as normal, then I double-click to go full-screen. It does take over the whole screen but most of it is black with the video at its original size in the top-left corner.
With "Unredirect fullscreen windows" enabled in compiz I can eventually get it fullscreen by toggling between FS and windowed several times, but it deos some weird things in between, such as scaling the video as if full-screen, but only showing part of it in a rectangle or window at the original size, and then the window accidentally gets maximized.
I also have to hide Unity's dock/launcher, otherwise it doesn't go quite full-screen, but leaves a black border on the right the same width as the dock, scaling down both horizontally and vertically to fit the whole picture at the correct aspect ratio.
FWIW I'm using VDPAU, which is essential on this system for HDTV.

Sorry about the title, some letters went missing for some reason, and I didn't notice. It's supposed to read "going full-screen". Is there a way to correct it?
