Autopilot needs to give better feedback when it cannot launch a test application

<mzanetti> thomi: but the fact that autopilot does not print stdout and stderr when the Autopilot iface couldn't be connected is pretty bad

<mzanetti> thomi: If a QML app misses a runtime dependency and passes the build queue but fails to start I need to walk manually through the jenkins setup to see whats happening

<thomi> mzanetti: ok, so when you run 'self.app = self.start_test_app('my_qml_app') you'd like an error message logged if it doesn't start?
<mzanetti> thomi: I'd like to get the apps stdout and stderr in that case, yes
<mzanetti> thomi: and another case:
<mzanetti> thomi: self.start_test_app() works fine, but fails to load libautopilotqt (or its driver)
<mzanetti> thomi: in that case it only says "Unable to connect autopilot interface" while it would make sense to print that libautopilotqt couldn't find libqt5test.so.5 (as an example)
<mzanetti> which is also in the apps stderr
<thomi> mzanetti: ok, I'll see what I can do. filing a bug for it now
