Bug Description
I'm running feisty on my workstation and my laptop, and in both cases, I use dual-head. It works great, with one annoying caveat:
If nothing is happening on the primary display, the screen saver will kick in, no matter that I'm typing and mousing furiously over on the second display. I think the screen saver needs to be modified to be smart enough to watch for activity not just on the main display, but also any others as well.
It isn't a bad bug, but annoying nonetheless.
My laptop is using fglrx and my desktop is using nvidia so it seems to be independent of driver (although I haven't tried it with open source ati and nv drivers - but then I don't think they even support independent dual-head).
Thank you for your bug report. The behavior you mention is already described in Bug #96440 . Feel free to follow up the discussion on that bug.
