There's not much description in the bug report but I have marked it as affects me because I am suffering from Xorg freezes since updating to Raring. I'm using Kubuntu and nvidia-313-updates (313.30-0ubuntu1). I have tried nvidia-304-updates and nvidia-310-updates but they both suffer from this problem.

Prior to the update I never saw a freeze on this PC.

When the freeze happens the cursor stops moving and no keys work, however I am still able to power down the PC by pressing the power button.

In an attempt to try to find a work around I made the following change:
Settings > Desktop Effects > Advanced > Composting type > OpenGL > Qt graphics system > Native
(it was "Render").

I've now been running for nearly a week without seeing any freezes, it was at least one a day. As this is a KDE setting (I'm using Kubuntu) I guess it's not much help to the OP, sorry.
