Oh yes,

I see it very good on the provided screenshots.

I see this as provided enough information to set the status of the report to confirmed.

Just for completeness:

Are you willing to run

apport-collect 1120640

from terminal?

(by default your system will not have installed some phyton launchpad libs -> please install them manually if apport disclaims on this.)

We get then the logs of the upgrade process here. May be they could shorten the fixing process.

What version of ubuntu-release-upgrader-core do you have installed? You can via 'apt-cache policy ubuntu-release-upgrade-core'. Thanks in advance.

There was a somewhat recent upload that may have fixed this.

ubuntu-release-upgrader (1:0.192.4) raring; urgency=low

  * Ensure that partial upgrades are fully translated (LP: #1072828) thanks to
Gabor Kelemen for the initial patch.
  * Remove code enabling apport since it is always running (LP: #1068874)
  * check-new-release-gtk: set the correct translation domain thanks to Gabor
    Kelemen for patch (LP: #1093697)
  * DistUpgradeController.py: call apport-bug with the binary package name not
the source package name (LP: #1098001)
  * source_ubuntu-release-upgrader.py: set the crash database to Ubuntu to
allow reporting of bugs even if the package does not seem to be official
    (LP: #1067542)

As brian said.

Givew the correct line

apt-cache policy ubuntu-release-upgrader-core

into the terminal and past the output here.

Please excuse the inconvinience, there was a little type in comment # 13, which prevent the command from working.

If you have pasted the output here as comment please set the status of the report back to confirmed.

Many thanks for your invested time and greetings
