Problems with mnemonic keys of certain GTK+ applications on Hoary

Bug Description

I first experienced this by using EiffelStudio 5.5 on Hoary Hedgehog:

Whenever I type a character in the editor of EiffelStudio 5.5, which is also a
hotkey or mnemonic in the menu (like alt+f for File or alt+e for edit), the
corresponding menu opens.

For example: I want to write

--
io.put_string("Hello World")
--

As soon as I write "o", the menu for "Favorites" opens. This makes it nearly
impossible to write code with the EiffelStudio editor.

But EiffelStudio is not the only affected application.

At least Epiphany and Galeon have the same problem. In Epiphany and Galeon when
you press a key which is also a mnemonic (for example alt+f for File), the
corresponding menu opens: When you press f, File gets open. This makes
type-ahead search in Galeon nearly impossible.

This doesn't only happen with Gnome 2.9 but also with XFCE 4.0.5-1 and ion3.

An upgrade to libgtk2-2.6.0-0ubuntu1 fixes the problem.
