Thank you ecastro for taking the time to report this issue.

Please, can you describe what happened? and more important, is this crash reproducible? If so, please indicate step by step how to force it.

Also, indicate too, which extensions/plugins do you have enabled.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Hilario,
After upgrading from Edgy to Feisty Firefox is really unstable, at least
in my machine. I have experienced repeated crashes. Sometimes while
surfing web, but others Firefox just crashed while I was engaged in
another task (Openoffice, Krusader). Suddenly all open FF windows
disappeared. I have seen this five times since upgrade. And crashes
while surfing on a daily basis (even several times). I have not singled
out a pattern: sometimes occurs when viewing flash video (youtube)
others just searching (Google) or visualizing regular HTML pages. In
every case I did had several tabs open.

I know this is rather vague, I am sorry for not having better
description.
Thanks for your interest.
Enrique

Please run in -safe-mode and see if things get better:

 # firefox -safe-mode

Is this still an issue for you? We are trying to sort this issue and would like to know if this still happens.

If it can be reproduced, please describe the steps to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hilario,

I am having a similar problem using Firefox with youtube, most times when I try to either leave the page showing a youtube video or to close that tab, firefox will freeze up. I'm not sure if there are any error reports (or how to get them) but it's relatively reproducible. Please let me know if I can be of any help.

Cheers,

Dan.

We have not received any duplicates for some time. Thus, this crash was likely due to some unique plugin extension combination or has been fixed in the meantime. Please, reopen it at any time if you have more related info.

Thanks for your contribution. Don't hesitate to submit new crashes,

H. Montoliu
